Detectives Arrest Teacher in Prostitution Sting

Detectives arrested 29-year-old Martin Rye Brown of the 8000 block of Walden Road in Silver Spring during a prostitution sting. Brown is a teacher at Langley Park-McCormick Elementary School in Hyattsville.

Brown was arrested during a sting operation in Lanham on Tuesday. He’s charged with two counts of prostitution and human trafficking. Our investigation reveals he solicited a prostitute and also rented a room that was used for prostitution. He's currently in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
